Who's Invited: Youth & Community Members. All Ages Event. This performance is free and open to the public.
What to expect: Free Arts’ Camp Series brings together young people from group homes, homeless shelters and treatment centers. At Hip Hop camp, these young artists explore the themes of Hip Hop culture through the elements of dance, spoken word poetry, urban art and music. At this event, youth will be demonstrating their new skills and teaching the audience what they have learned! The showcase will be an interactive event, where audience members will get the opportunity to try DJing, Break Dancing, Graffitti Art, and EMCEEing, followed by a Hip Hop performance put on by the youth.
